Altitude Training – MITOVIT
An innovative procedure that simulates high-altitude training. This type of training is often used by athletes to improve their endurance and performance by increasing the efficiency of oxygen utilization and enhancing their body’s ability to tolerate low oxygen levels. The training brings a wide range of benefits both from a physical and brain function perspective: the heart and brain are trained to work in oxygen deficiency (hypoxic conditioning), significantly improving metabolism throughout the body, enhancing the efficiency of systems responsible for oxygen transport and utilization at all levels, and consequently producing numerous health-related benefits.
- Improves endurance, strength, and performance.
- Reduces oxidative stress, promotes relaxation, and enhances focus.
- Improves peripheral circulation and red blood cell production.
- Enhances immune system function.
Effective and safe training with the device monitors oxygen levels, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), and blood oxygen saturation levels (SpO2) throughout the entire training session. The oxygen concentration varies from 9-16% (hypoxia) to 32-34% (hyperoxia). The training is conducted comfortably while lying down in complete relaxation. Intervals have cycles of 3-5 minutes, and the average duration of the training is approximately 40 minutes.
